Before and during China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF), nearly 100 forums and featured activities of diversified forms and themes have been held in Tianjin. Among them, 15 CFDF official forums and the featured activities like "Global Food Happy Shopping" and "One-day Tour of Tianjin Food Industry" during the event attracted passionate attention and active participation of industry insiders.

October 19 to 27

Jointly organized by Tianjin Municipal Commerce Administration, CFDF organizer and Tianjin Food Group, the Global Food Happy Shopping of the 101st CFDF was successfully held in Tianjin Joy City, supermarkets of Minyuan Marketplace, a few Wumarts and Renrenle supermarkets. More than 150 products offered by the exhibitors of CFDF were available in local malls and supermarkets and through diversified forms like cultural creativity roadshow, knowledge Q&A, fun interaction, promotional sale, etc. the "exhibition-store interaction" enables Tianjin people to have straightforward experience of the hot atmosphere of CFDF and enjoy real discounts.

October 22 and 23

The "One-day Tour of Tianjin Food Industry" invited more than 300 dealers, traders, supermarket purchase managers, foreign merchants and media reporters that attended the CFDF to visit the most representative food, alcohol and condiment enterprises in Tianjin, check the production lines and new products, and have in-depth discussion with the persons in charge of these enterprises. The participating dealers said that the on-site visit of Tianjin food enterprises gave them straightforward feeling of the strength and charm of Tianjin food and drinks enterprises of a long history, and bridged the producers and distributors for possible deep collaboration.

The main forum of CFDF "A Bite of Chinese Dream—Summit for National Food Industry in the Great Power Era" was held at Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. Food is the top priority of livelihood while food abundance and diversity is also a "Chinese Dream" in the new era. Yao Jingyuan, Special Researcher of Counselors Office of State Council, Zhang Liang, President of Innovation Research Institute of Industrial Culture Development Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Wang Jing, Senior Research Director of Ipsos and Liang Chunhua, Senior Vice President of Xinchao Media Group all delivered keynote speeches. These keynoters explained the social change over the past 70 years since the founding of the PRC and its effect and impact upon the industry change and digital change, and all recognized the "Big Responsibilities" behind the future "Small Food" as well as the driving force and general tendency of "Safety, Innovation and Grand Health" in the present and future development of food industry.
