China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF) started in 1955 and totally 101 CFDFs have been held for consecutive 64 years, which is a professional exhibition event of long history, large scale and far-reaching influence of the food and drinks industry in China. As an important economic activity and a loyal friend to the industry insiders, CFDF has witnessed, engaged with and recorded the remarkable evolution of China's food and drinks industry and supported the growth of industry manufacturers for generations.
Over the years, the organizer of CFDF kept pursuing the goal of "creating a world-class exhibition" and innovating and upgrading the event as per the criteria of "branding, internationalization, informatization and professionalism" where internationalization is a significant target. Following the changing and upgrading trends of import food and drinks industry and market in recent years, CFDF since 2009 established the Hall of Wine and International Liquor, Zone of Import Food, Zone of International Food Machinery, etc. and through diversified means of grouping by country, overseas promotion, world-class industrial activities, internationally-benchmarked service level, business activities and services at home and abroad, etc. brought domestic and foreign exhibitors and purchasers to the CFDF platform for extensive negotiation and cooperation. CFDF has turned out to be one of the most influential and international exhibition events of food and drinks industry domestically.
Going through a year of strict review and appraisal, recently, the organizer of CFDF—China Sugar Century International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. got official accreditation by UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) and was accepted by the international top exhibition family. UFI was founded in Milan, Italy on April 15, 1925 with the headquarter in Paris, France. UFI is by far the most important and authoritative international organization in the world exhibition industry. At present, it has nearly 800 members from 88 countries and regions around the world, covering the whole exhibition industry chain.
The UFI accreditation marks that CFDF has been highly recognized by the international exhibition industry for its competency of internationalization and professionalism, which will support the event expansion of its international presence and engagement in global exhibition exchange and cooperation.
The 102nd CFDF will be held in the Western China International Expo City from March 26 to 28, 2020. With a total exhibition area of 210,000 m2, the event consists of 6 exhibition zones namely food and drinks, traditional wine, wine and international liquor, condiments and ingredients, food machinery and food packaging and 9 featured zones for subdividing categories. The host will elaborately prepare a feast with best-of-all quality and scale to all the domestic and foreign exhibitors and visitors. Facing a brand new era, the event will give full play to the value and effect as a platform of production-sale interconnection, brand promotion, information distribution, channel building, investment and financing cooperation, etc. to write a new chapter of China's food and drinks industry!
